January Meeting: Father James Betz, the pastor of Ascension Parish, has agreed to be our speaker at the January 6, 2005 meeting. He will speak on the beautiful Ascension Parish Church Building which was built in 1986 but is like a wonderful jewel box of a church with many statues, traditional stained glass windows, side altars and large portraits of the saints, gold leafed decorated sky blue ceiling and richly decorated throughout. Fr. Betz was a deacon in the parish at the time of construction and had years of experience in the construction business in the Washington area. So he has a unique insight into the design and construction of the Church Building.

President’s Message: As many have urged, I have obtained again a web site for CAS+E, and I am in the process of “putting it up.” I note that the home computer that I have does not have the standard software for putting up files to the web. Could one of our members advise me on the best software to get for this purpose? The HP Pavillion computer works with Windows XP as the operating system. You can e-mail your advice to me.

Angelita and I were blest when our son, Francis Jr. received the sacrament of matrimony as he exchanged marriage vows with Miss Holly Bush Nichols before Rev. Fr. Steve Brett on November 6, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia.

As we come to the end of this very eventful year we wish all of the members and friends of CAS+E will have a blessed Christmas and happiness throughout the coming year.

Frank and Angie Kelly
